The Town of Kilmarnock and the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recently announced the 2025 Kilmarnock Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, December 12. The parade will illuminate Main Street with dazzling lights, festive floats, marching bands and holiday spirit as the community comes together to celebrate the magic of Christmas.
The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber also announced that Irma Pauline Henderson Burke, age 110, will be the 2025 grand marshal. A lifelong Northern Neck resident and beloved community treasure, Mrs. Burke represents the very best of the region’s history, resilience, and heart, said executive director Leslie Jingluski.
