LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, February 20, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of William C.L. Brock Jr. of Mathews, previously given a deferred disposition after pleading no contest to a felony for selling a Schedule I/II substance, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of a Schedule I/II substance and was given a five-year suspended sentence and 12 months of probation along with paying $560 in court costs.
In the case of Kevin J. Hall of Lancaster, who previously pleaded guilty to a felony for making a false statement on a criminal history consent and given a deferred disposition, a review hearing was scheduled for July 24.
In the case of Kavon N. Kelley of White Stone, charged with a felony for malicious wounding, a status hearing was scheduled for March 20.
In the case of Hannibal R. Tyler-El of Burgess, charged with a felony for DWI, previous related felony conviction; a felony for driving on a suspended license, second offense; a felony for driving with a revoked license due to DWI; a misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without ignition interlock; and a misdemeanor for unauthorized possession of an inspection sticker, a trial was scheduled for May 8.
February 13 proceedings
The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, February 13, with Judge Martin presiding.
In the case of Anthony J. Germaine of Lancaster, appealing a General District Court civil offense conviction for refusing a blood/breathalyzer test, a trial was scheduled for April 10.
In the case of Derek A. Shipman of Lancaster, appealing a General District Court misdemeanor conviction for DWI, first offense, that charge was nolle prossed.
In the case of Jesse D. Foster of Lancaster, charged with felonies for involuntary manslaughter, reckless involuntary DUI manslaughter, reckless driving resulting in accident and death and a misdemeanor for DWI, second offense within five years, a jury trial was rescheduled for June 6-12.
