The Foundation for Historic Christ Church (FHCC) invites anyone curious about volunteering to an orientation session from 9:30-noon Tuesday, March 17, at Historic Christ Church & Museum, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.
Created in 1958, FHCC is dedicated to preservation, education and research at Christ Church—completed in 1735 and Lancaster County’s only National Historic Landmark.
Often called the best-preserved and most finely crafted colonial parish church in Virginia, Historic Christ Church is one of America’s great buildings. The site also includes an interactive museum, gift shop and education-event center.
