Agnes Louise H. H. Webster

MUNCIE, IN—Agnes Louise Hill Hendricks Webster died April 2, 2022, in Muncie, Ind.

She was born January 8, 1958 in Beaufort, N.C., to the late Doris Nadine Godette Hill Carter and Robert “Junebug” Hill Jr. They moved to Kilmarnock on May 11, 1958.

Agnes was a member of New St. John Baptist Church, Kilmarnock. She sang in the youth choir and the Northern Neck Baptist Associate Youth Choir.

She was a 1976 graduate of Lancaster High School, where she was president of Student Council Association her senior year. She also was a member of the LHS basketball and softball teams and a member of the Champs, a community softball team.

Agnes worked at the Golden Eagle Golf Course for many years before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. There she worked for the U.S. Postal Service and later the City of Hamilton Public Works.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, JW Hendricks; sons, Robert Hendricks, Julius Hendricks and Jason Courtney Hendricks; parents, Doris Nadine Hill Carter and Robert Hill Jr.; brother, Kevin Charleston Sr.; and sister, Terry Ellison.

She is survived by grandchildren, X’Zaveion Owens, JaVon Hendricks and Jaiylain Hendricks; siblings, Anthony C. Godette, Julia L. Hill Cain, Robert Hill III, Edmon Hill Sr., Cornelia L. Hill Morton, Jerome Ball and Lynn Ellison; and stepchildren, Denese Warren, Dorothy Morrow, Verelene Summerour and Calvin Chapman.

A life celebration service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
