In his three years as the Red Devils head coach, Dwayne Pinn has etched his name in the Lancaster High School history books. Pinn has made Northern Neck District history by leading his team to back-to-back Class 1 boys basketball championships.
In doing so, the Devils have “three-peated” as both the Northern Neck District and Region 1A tournament champions and in three years, Pinn has amassed an amazing 74-3 record, going unbeaten against Virginia High School League teams in back-to-back seasons. In 2022-23, his Devils went 29-0 and this year, LHS lost only two games, one to a West Virginia team and the other to a private Virginia school.
In his first season at the helm in 2021-22, the LHS alum led the Devils to the state semifinals.
