LANCASTER—The 2023 general election is some 10 months away and at least one candidate for the Lancaster County Board of Supervisors is already actively campaigning.
Current board chairman Ernest W. Palin Jr. has announced his candidacy for reelection in District 2.
A check of the Virginia Department of Elections website confirms the November 7 election will include the Senate of Virginia, the House of Delegates, Soil and Water Conservation District directors and Constitutional officers including the Clerk of Circuit Court, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Sheriff, Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer.
