Chargers shut-out Red Devils, 2-0, in region soccer quarterfinals

Middlesex ended Lancaster’s most successful soccer season in a decade on Thursday, May 28. The Chargers defeated the Red Devils, 2-0, in a Region 1A tournament quarterfinal.

Lancaster, as the third seed in the region with an 8-5 record, earned a home berth in the first round of the tournament. The Red Devils also beat Rappahannock during the regular season for the first time in over a decade but lost to the Raiders to finish as the district tournament runner-up.
