Chesapeake Academy athletic director Ian York and girls basketball coach Hillary May Smith recently announced winter athletics awards at a special school assembly.
For the 2018-19 winter athletics season, certificates were awarded to all interscholastic athletes and plaques were presented to the most improved players, coach’s award recipients and most valuable players on each team, reported head of school Julianne T. Duvall. These students also consistently reflect the character and sportsmanship standards of the school’s athletic code of conduct.
