KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Town Council postponed a special called meeting that was to be held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, due to lack of a quorum. However, the meeting was not immediately rescheduled.
The meeting was to be held as a utilities workshop for the purpose of discussing a report from Draper Aden Associates on a study of utility revenues.
Council members Les Spivey, Curtis Smith and Emerson Gravatt were present along with Mayor Mae Umphlett, town manager Susan Cockrell and additional town staff. Council members Don Lee, Mike Bedell and Kylie Abbott were absent.
