A couple of young entrepreneurs saw the demand for speciality food items and are meeting it.
Lancaster High School graduate Wyatt Kemp and Christchurch School graduate Leland James took a leap this past year and opened BooKoo Foods in Lively. The distribution company specializes in gluten-free and sugar-free products.
Kemp is 22. James is 29 and the elder of the workforce, which includes five full-time employees and four part-timers.
