LOTTSBURG—By a 4-0 unanimous vote, the Northumberland school board on Friday, April 17, appointed Dr. Cheryl Brown Davis to the District 2 seat.
The appointment came following an interview and related public hearing. The seat was vacated after the death of former member Mary Hooper.
“I think we should share a vision of commitment for improvement, we have to maintain accountability for everything we do, and we must focus on what’s best for the kids, including social justice,” said Dr. Davis.
