Election season is here

RICHMOND—Although the statewide General Election is Tuesday, November 2, in-person early voting will begin at local voter registration offices on September 17.

Statewide, elections will be held for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and House of Delegates.

Lancaster County general registrar Susan Jett indicated the Lancaster County Voter Registration Office in the County Administration Building, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, will be open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for early in-person voting. Voters will be required to bring identification, she said.

Masks are encouraged and appreciated, she added. Social distancing will be practiced.

Voters also may now vote by mail….
