Elizabeth Barrett of Gloucester thought it would be fun to attend the nationally televised game show “The Price is Right” while visiting her son in California back in October. She had no idea how lucrative it would be.
Barrett, a respiratory therapist at Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital in Kilmarnock since 1999, was the big winner on The Price is Right’s first show of 2020. It aired on January 2 but was taped on October 9, 2019. She won the showcase and over $40,000 in prizes, including a car, trip and pool table.
