Everett ‘Butch’ Campbell

MERRY POINT—Everett “Butch” Campbell died Friday, July 31, 2020, at his home in Merry Point.

He was born in Baltimore, Md., on March 17, 1941, to the late Howard and Julia Ball Campbell.

Butch attended public schools in Baltimore and at the age of 17 he relocated to Kilmarnock with his parents.

He was employed as a fisherman at Omega Protein in Reedville, a truck driver for D&D Construction, and a stockman at Walmart in Kilmarnock.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Tracey Bradley.

He is survived by his son, Steven Campbell of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Stacy Browser of Gilmer, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Crew, Gabrielle, Dominic, Nicholas and Maya; and a sister, Vera Lee.

A funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 8, at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment followed in The Campbell Cemetery, Kilmarnock.
