Grace Church Yard Sale contributes $137,106 to local organizations in 2023

Grace Church Yard Sale experienced a 7.5% increase in net revenue from 2022 to 2023.

“Grace Episcopal Church awarded $127,106 in grants to community non-profits from our sales and an additional $10,915 in quarterly donations to our host, Seventh Day Adventist Church,” said yard sale coordinator Lucia Schoelwer.

The proceeds from all sales go directly back into the community.

The Grace Yard Sale is an all-volunteer operation, open from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and Thursdays and 1-3 p.m. Sundays. Beginning April 1, hours will be expanded to include 4-6 p.m. first Mondays.

“None of this would be possible without our faithful volunteers, our amazing customers, our incredible donors, and our host, Seventh Day Adventist Church” said Schoelwer.

Some 38 people volunteer in the warehouse and 13 people volunteer on the pickup crew.
