Area residents are invited to learn about a new Medicare program designed to support individuals living with dementia and the families who care for them during an information session at 1 p.m. February 20 at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
The session will introduce Medicare’s new GUIDE Model, a free program for eligible Medicare Part A and B participants. The program offers coordinated, team-based care, caregiver education and up to $2,563 per year in respite services for family caregivers.
