KILMARNOCK—Although the Virginia Democratic Primary Election date is June 8, the voting process will begin Friday.
“Recent changes in Virginia election laws allow you to vote before the June 8 Democratic Primary Election in person without a reason or application,” said Robert Bennett, chairman of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee.
In Lancaster, early in-person voting will take place at the Voter Registration Office in the County Administration Building, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, April 23 through June 5 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, as well as Saturdays, May 29 and June 5. Those who prefer to vote curbside may call 462-5277 from the parking lot.
In Northumberland, early polling will take place at the Voter Registration Office in the James R. Hundley, DVM, Memorial Building, 45 Back Street, Heathsville, April 23 through June 5, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays as well as Saturdays, May 29 and June 5. Those who prefer to vote curbside may call 580-4655 from the parking lot.
