JV Indians edge Red Devils, 12-11

Lancaster’s comeback fell short by a run last Tuesday when Northumberland edged the Red Devils, 12-11, in a JV baseball game.

Rappahannock also beat LHS last week, 8-3, as the Devils dropped to 2-6 overall with three games remaining in the season.

Jayvien Monroe had three hits, including a single, double and a home run, and scored three runs to lead Lancaster’s offense against the Indians. Noah Benson and Jahlil Hebbons each scored twice and Thomas Major, Parker Simmons, Jonathan Gaines and Brandon George scored one run each.
