West Point High School batted through the lineup for five runs in the sixth inning on Monday, March 25, to beat Lancaster, 15-9, in varsity softball at Dream Fields in Kilmarnock. The Lady Devils, with several players absent, had to forfeit to Middlesex on Friday, March 29, to fall to 1-4 overall.

Lancaster collected 12 hits in the game against West Point, taking a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the first with two walks and a single.

Ayla Saunders, Tahlia Sutton, Skye Smith and Lily Hathaway each had a run scored in the first with Braelyn Johnson hitting a two-run single.

Sutton and Hathaway crossed the plate again….
