Lancaster claimed five of six singles matches and picked up a bonus win in doubles to beat Northampton, 6-1, and advance to the Region 1A girls tennis semifinals this week.
The Lady Devils had already won enough singles matches for the quarterfinal win on Friday, May 22, but got a sixth win from number one doubles McKenzie Pittman and Finley Major. Pittman won her number one singles sets, 6-1, 6-0, in the best of three match against Sophie Tayloe. Major also took her match at number two, 6-1, 6-0, over Samrit Kaur.
