LANCASTER—The Lancaster board of supervisors and the county’s business relations advisory committee (BRAC) held a special called workshop September 9 to share the work that has been done to date.
BRAC also sought direction about moving forward in order to “keep the county business friendly in the future,” said committee member Paul Sciacchitano, who presented the committee’s work.
The BRAC has grown to include supervisors Bill Lee and Jason Bellows; planning commission chairman Ty Brent; school superintendent Dan Russell; economic development authority chairman Roy Carter; Kilmarnock town manager Susan Cockrell; bank executive Jeff Szyperski; entrepreneur Julien Patterson; developer Jimmie Carter; and Sciacchitano.
