LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, January 15, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of William M. Noel, no address given, arraignment on one charge of felony possession of a Schedule I/II substance was continued until January 29 when Noel requested a new attorney. Noel also faces three charges of distribution of a Schedule I/II substance, third-plus offense, and one charge of selling a Schedule I/II substance. A trial is to be set on January 22.
Gene B. Russell of Lancaster, charged with felony child abuse, waived his right to a jury trial. A bench trial was scheduled for April 23.
In the case of Centrix B. Palmer of Kilmarnock, charged with two counts of selling a Schedule I/II substance, arraignment was continued to February 5 when he was appointed an attorney.
