LANCASTER — A Lancaster County Circuit Court grand jury on Friday, April 26, issued 16 true bills of indictment against nine individuals.
A true bill was issued against Michael A. Baublitz of Kilmarnock for felony sale and distribution of marijuana. A trial was set for May 10.
A true bill was issued and a trial was set for July 12 for James A. Boyd III of Lancaster, who was charged with a felony count of DWI, third in five, and three misdemeanor charges of eluding police, driving under a revoked or suspended license and failure to surrender a license/registration or title.
True bills were issued for Daniel Courses of Kilmarnock for felony charges of assault, abduction by force or intimidation and destruction of property worth more than $1,000. Trial was set for June 18.
Marvin W. Davenport Jr. of Heathsville was issued a true bill for felony obstruction of justice and a trial set for May 31.
Erica W. Jones of Lancaster was issued a true bill for entering the home of a person with a protective order against her. A trial was set for May 10.
Johnathan F. Mitchell of Lancaster was issued true bills for failure to register as a violent offender, second offense. A hearing was set for June 28.
Wallace E. Rice of Lancaster was also issued a true bill with a trial tomorrow, May 3, for failure to register as a violent sex offender.
A true bill was issued against Davuan R. Wright of Lancaster for malicious wounding. Trial was scheduled for May 31.
