Lancaster man charged with first degree murder

LANCASTER—Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) on Thursday, December 11, in the arrest of Steve A. Curry, 66, at his Lancaster home following the shooting death of Branden Patrick Green, 43, an employee of Tri-River Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) in Gloucester.

According to a GCSO press release, on Thursday, December 11, at approximately 8:41 a.m., the Gloucester County Emergency Communications Center received a call concerning a deceased male inside the Tri-River ASAP office in the 3000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway. The caller reported that they passed another individual leaving the area and provided a description to the responding GCSO deputies.

Deputies and criminal investigators first on the scene located Green inside, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Using evidence recovered at the scene and witness statements, GCSO investigators identified Curry as the suspect. Investigators also….
