Lancaster planners endorse zoning change

LANCASTER—Following a public hearing on Thursday, May 20, the Lancaster planning commission recommended the board of supervisors rezone 8545 Mary Ball Road from commercial (C1) to residential community (R4) designation.

The .582-acre property has been for sale for some time with the main drawback being its current commercial zoning, according to planning/land use director Brian Barnes.
