Lancaster senior softball team wins state championship

The Lancaster County Little League Senior Softball team on Monday, June 30, won the 2025 Virginia Senior League state championship and earned a berth in next week’s southeast regional in Tennessee.

Lancaster defeated Chesterfield, 12-7, in the championship game.

Senior southeastern regional play will start Friday, July 11, when Lancaster takes on Georgia at 11:30 a.m.
