The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) announces the lecture series, “Genealogy Research Topics, Tools, and Tips” with six programs offered at the Lancaster Community Library in Kilmarnock and virtually by Zoom on September 23 and 30, October 7, 14 and 28 and November 4.
Each session can be attended as a stand-alone program and will be taught by Sharon B. Hodges, a professional genealogist and LVHS member.
Advance registration and payment is required no later than 4 p.m. on the day before each program.
“A portion of the class fees directly benefits the historical society for our museum and library operations and non-profit mission to preserve, understand, and share local history and genealogy,” said LVHS executive director Karen Hart.
