Bishop Sue Haupert–Johnson of the Virginia United Methodist Annual Conference recently appointed Rev. Fred Okello to serve the Bethel and Emmanuel Churches of Lively and Morattico. Rev. Okello assumed his duties on July 1.
Rev. Okello was born and raised in the rural western regions of Kenya in East Africa. He and his wife, Carren, have four children, Yvonne, Steve, Stanley and Marvin.
