OTTOMAN—Lottie “Peggy” Sebra Courtney Gill, 92, of Ottoman went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Nathan Courtney; second husband of six years, Jay “Jr.” Gill Jr.; and eight siblings.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Chappell of South Carolina and Wendy Carter (Donald) formerly of Lancaster; grandchildren Becky Williams, Chris Courtney, Buffy Ashburn, Vern Courtney, Courtney Carter, “DJ” Donald Carter Jr. and Heather Jenkins; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin Sebra; and two sisters, Delma Rose of Weems and Thelma Rowe of White Stone.
She was a member of Corrottoman Baptist Church and worked at her home as a hairdresser for many years. She loved her family very much. Due to COVID-19, memorial services will be some time in April.
