KILMARNOCK—Denise P. Mazyck of Fawn Knoll Lane near Kilmarnock has filed her petitions for the District 3 seat on the Northumberland County School Board.
According to a press release submitted by her campaign manager, Richard Saxer, Mazyck is a graduate of Northumberland High School. She has taught in the Newton County, Georgia, schools for eight years, as a primary and middle school teacher. She also taught in the King and Queen County, Virginia, public schools for three years.
