RICHMOND—In a reconvened session on April 2, Virginia lawmakers largely rejected Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s recommended changes to the budget bill, approving only 41 of 205 amendments.
In a press release thanking the General Assembly for their work at the conclusion of the session, Gov. Youngkin did not signal any further decisions, only saying, “Over the next 30 days I will review and take final action on the bills and budget amendments that have been sent back to my desk.”
