Community-wide efforts are underway to raise funds for a Northumberland High School (NHS) After Prom Party.
The NHS After Prom Party Committee will hold a bake sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 8 at Lilian Lumber in Burgess. Funds raised will be used to throw a fun, safe event for the NHS students, reported Laura Shackleford.
“We are also raising money through the sale of Cow Patty Raffle tickets,” said Shackleford. “If the cow poops on your square, you can win $1,000.”
The NHS After Prom Party Committee will host the Cow Patty Raffle from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. April 15, during the Heathsville Farmers Market….
