Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M) recently announced the 22nd Northern Neck History Fair.
The competition is open to fourth grade students at Lancaster Primary and Northumberland Elementary schools as well as third grade students at Chesapeake Academy. Fourth grade homeschoolers from Lancaster and Northumberland counties are also invited to participate, said executive director Robert Teagle.
The fair promotes research on life in colonial and revolutionary Virginia by these students, who study the period as part of their Virginia Studies curricula.
