The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron (NNSPS) will offer a Safe Boating Course from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. October 12 and 19 at the NNSPS Classroom, Chesapeake Commons, 453C North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

The course will cover the requirements for a Virginia Safe Boating Card plus boating in adverse conditions, handling medical emergencies, dealing with mechanical problems, towing, trailering and anchoring, reported public relations chairman KC Cavallaro.
