Northampton contains Lancaster offense for 49-6 gridiron victory

Northampton spotted Lancaster a touchdown then put up 42 unanswered points in the first half on the way to a 49-6 win over the Red Devils last Friday on the Eastern Shore.

Quarterback Calvin Redmond hit Kyle Uhler on a 22-yard pass play midway through the first quarter to put Lancaster on the board first.

The Devils’ ground game never got going against the Yellow Jackets, and Redmond completed 7 of 16 passes for 100 of Lancaster’s 128 yards of offense.

Northampton amassed 414 yards offense on 44 plays and had 332 yards rushing. Northampton went to the air only…
