
The Northern Neck Association of Realtors (NNAR) recently announced it has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the National Association of Realtors Rural Outreach Program to support education on the key benefits of implementing living shorelines in the region.
As part of this initiative, NNAR hosted an educational event at Nacho Average Brew House featuring guest speaker Kelsey English. A 2017 Christchurch School graduate, English has a degree in environmental science from Longwood University. Her professional background includes serving as the environmental code compliance officer for Lancaster County. She now leads the shoreline division at Ransone’s Nursery.
