HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened on Tuesday, May 31, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Dashaune J. Smith of Lancaster, charged with three counts of felony malicious wounding, malicious shooting or throwing at a vehicle, and use of a firearm while committing a felony, a status hearing was continued to June 14.
In the case of Trequan D. Smith of Lancaster, charged with three counts of felony malicious wounding, malicious shooting or throwing at a vehicle, and use of a firearm while committing a felony, a status hearing was continued to June 14.
May 24 cases
The Northumberland County Circuit Court also convened on Tuesday, May 24, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Hakeem A. Shabazz of Hampton, charged with speeding 70 in a 55 miles per hour zone, a trial was continued to June 14.
Cintez C. Gibson of Lancaster was sentenced to 12 months on a probation violation on a felony offense, and probation was revoked. He faces $1,203.30 in costs. This sentencing is to run concurrently with another probation violation charge in which he was to sentenced five years, with five years suspended.
