LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, June 3, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Devon L. Napier of Newport News, charged with two felonies for being a nonviolent felon in possession of a weapon and robbery using a firearm, the charges were nolle prossed.
Clinton R. Chewning of Weems, charged with four felonies for probation violations, pleaded no contest to two of those charges. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 10. The other two charges were nolle prossed.
