Pandemic recovery program available to students statewide

Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow recently announced the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has launched “Engage Virginia,” an academic recovery and coaching program to help students recover from the impact of the pandemic on learning, attendance and related issues.

Engage Virginia services are available to students, families and schools at no cost through a partnership between VDOE and Graduation Alliance, a Salt Lake City-based education services provider specializing in online programs for students and state and local education agencies.
