A base-clearing double by Eli Pittman in the first inning gave Lancaster an early lead en route to a 5-1 win over Rappahannock in Northern Neck District varsity baseball last Tuesday.
The Red Devils loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the first when Jayden Chapman singled, Brendan Walker drew a walk and Sean Thomas was struck by a pitch. That set up an RBI walk by Jonathan Lee and Pittman’s first-pitch double down the right field line for three RBIs.
Lancaster added another run in the top….
