Pre-trial hearing in Chapman case slated Friday in Circuit Court

LANCASTER—The jury trial of Matthew S. Chapman of White Stone, accused in the shooting murder of John Carter Gordon in March, is expected to be scheduled for October, after a hearing on the case tomorrow.

Chapman is charged with four felonies including first degree murder, second degree murder, the use of a firearm to commit a felony, and shooting or stabbing while committing a felony.
