Lancaster’s young varsity team opened with a late-game loss to Rappahannock in Northern Neck District baseball Tuesday, April 27.

The Raiders came from behind to topple Lancaster, 11-8, at Dream Fields.

Lancaster went through four pitchers including three innings with starter and returning junior Jayden Chapman on the mound. Sophomore Jonathan Lee and junior Brendan Walker pitched some relief before sophomore newcomer Eli Pittman came to the mound to pitch the last three innings.
