RCC receives grants to help boost enrollment

The River Counties Community Foundation and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education have awarded grants to support the Rappahannock Community College’s community-based efforts to increase college enrollment among area high school students. 

Along with the Verlander Foundation, the generous commitment of the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education and the River Counties Community Foundation provides students in eight area high schools with access to career and college coaching.

Rappahannock Community College (RCC) career coaches work on-site with school guidance counselors in Gloucester, Mathews, Essex, Rappahannock, Washington & Lee, Middlesex, Northumberland and Lancaster high schools. Students receive support in developing…
