With all the moving parts working in sync right now, the Red Devils are hard to beat.
Lancaster, claiming its first Region 1A championship in five years with a 4-1 win over Middlesex June 1, is riding an 11-game winning streak into this week’s Class 1 state tournament.
“For the majority of the season, we were only getting production out of one or two spots in the lineup,” said LHS coach Scotty George. “But now, from top to bottom, it’s a tough out no matter who’s at the plate. It’s hard to beat a team when you’ve got nine guys who are producing. And we’re getting rallies going from the bottom of the lineup.”
The Devils called their second run through the district and region their “revenge tour” after losing twice to the Chargers early in the season and….
