The varsity Red Devils improved to 5-1 last week with back-to-back baseball wins over Tidewater District teams.
Lancaster took a three-run lead in the third and led through seven to beat Middlesex, 8-2, on Friday, March 29. LHS also won big on Monday, March 25, shutting down West Point in a 13-0 mercy-rule win.
Josh Woolard hit a one-run double and Taylor Davis a two-run single against Middlesex to give the host Devils a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
Davis started on the mound for LHS, collecting the win after striking out five, walking five and allowing two hits in 4.1 innings. Creston Saunders took the mound for 2.2 innings with six strikeouts, one walk and one hit allowed.
