The Lancaster High School golf team continues to rack up the wins, adding two matches this week to bring its winning streak to six.
The Red Devils beat West Point by 66 strokes, 210-144, in a nine-hole match in the heat and humidity on September 5. A match the next day, September 6, against Essex was postponed because of the extreme heat.
Lancaster was 21 strokes better than Middlesex on September 11 when the Devils beat the Chargers, 181-160.
Lancaster’s Leyton Dew had the low score for both teams, shooting a 38 in nine holes at Golden Eagle Golf Course. Creston Saunders shot a 39, Colin Payne, 40, and Tyler Brent, 43, as the four scorers ….
