The Rappahannock River Yacht Club (RRYC) in Irvington on April 28 will offer an opportunity for up to 20 people to learn about the fun of sailing.
“This is a free and fun event with no experience or boat needed,” reported news director Tom Wicks. “Bring your kids, grandkids, spouse, neighbors or a friend and come sailing.”
The “Community Day” event will begin at noon at the RRYC, 100 Rappahannock Road, Irvington. To make sure there are ample coaches and boats that day, this is limited to the first 20 people to register to sail, said Wicks. Observers beyond the 20 sailors are welcome…
