The 2024 Sundays at Two series will continue on January 28 with a presentation by Paul Sciacchitano. “Lancaster 2035, Development, Growth and Change in the Northern Neck” will begin at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Sciacchitano is chairman of Lancaster 2035 and has been a resident of the Northern Neck Since 1994. He is a 50-year veteran of financial services including his last 22 years as a managing director at Wells Fargo in Kilmarnock. He was also formerly chief executive officer of Bay Trust and chief financial officer of Bay Banks of Virginia.
A former commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, Sciacchitano is a 1972 graduate of VMI with a bachelor’s in economics, and a graduate of the Stonier School of Bank Management at the University of Delaware. Sciacchitano and his wife, Karen, live in Weems. They have been married for 41 years and have two adult children living in Miami Beach and New York.
Sciacchitano has been central to the development of the Lancaster 2035 Strategic Plan. He serves as chairman of the Citizens Business Relations Advisory Committee (CBRAC), established by the Lancaster board of supervisors in 2019 to tackle the loss of workforce-aged residents and promote a business-friendly environment for growth and prosperity….
