Seahorses to open baseball season at Dream Fields

The Christchurch School baseball season will get underway next week.

The Seahorses will open the 2024 season at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, against Lancaster at Dream Fields, 1385 Irvington Road, Kilmarnock. The Seahorses will host Virginia Episcopal at 4 p.m. Friday, March 15, and 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, on Davis Field at Christchurch School, 49 Seahorse Lane, Christchurch.

Local players include Cameron Byers of Christchurch, Dallas Davis of Topping, Trey Fitchett of Saluda, Waverly Rennolds of  Urbanna, Kemp Davis of Tappahannock, Latane Barnette of Tappahannock, Mark Lewis of Dunnsville, Finley Caisse of Hartfield, Mac Bargatze of Dunnsville, Isaiah Booker of Gloucester and Brayden Payne of Waterview.

The team is coached by Joey Fitchett and assistants Aaron Mathews and Floyd Crouch.
