Sharon Baptist Church on November 17 observed Men’s/Veterans Day.
Guest speaker retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. W. Keith Johnson spoke encouraging words to a congregation that included 14 veterans, reported Lloyd N. Hill.
The veterans present represented the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines as well as service in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Desert Storm, Iraq War and Afghanistan, said Hill.
